About

I’m a highly experienced Factual Documentary Producer, Director, Edit Producer & Drama Documentary Director with a background in television journalism (including C4 News & C4 Dispatches). Over the past 25 years, I’ve made a wide range of content including investigative current affairs, true crime drama docs and history, archaeology, travelogue and adventure shows.

I trained as an actor at drama school and as a single camera director at BBC’s Elstree Studios. I’ve made observational documentaries, interview and archive-led films and presenter-led shows and I’ve worked for some of the UK’s leading independent production companies including Hardcash, Wall To Wall Television, Arrow International Media, Brook Lapping, Blast! Films, Brinkworth TV and Raw. I’m highly experienced in securing difficult access & dealing with sensitive subject matter.

I’m a part time Lecturer at The London School of Film, Media & Design at The University of West London where I teach Video Journalism and Documentary Production on the BA Journalism programme. I also teach A & AS Level (Eduqas) Media Studies and Film Studies and the UAL Extended Diploma (Level 3) in Creative Media Production and Technology at City of Oxford College and Bracknell & Wokingham College for Activate Learning.

I’m the proud dad of two British children, step-father to two Ukrainian children and the human pet of two Miniature Schnauzers. I’m a fluent – though now slightly rusty – Russian speaker with a full UK driving license and a current USA i-visa. I’ve made many hours of single films and multi-part series for a wide variety of UK & international digital platforms including:
